Clinical experience

Hello, I am Dr. Ali Bülent Çekem

After completing my early education in Gaziantep, I began my medical training at the Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine and graduated in 1997.

I then completed my residency in psychiatry at İnönü University in Malatya. During my residency I gained broad experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of psychiatric conditions.

Between 2014 and 2016 I served as an assistant professor at Sanko University. In those years I continued my academic work while deepening my clinical practice.

Since 2016 I have been seeing patients at my own practice in Alsancak, İzmir. I am trained in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, and I have maintained a meditation practice since 2014.

I also hold sessions in English.
